Terms and conditions ~

By receiving booking confirmation, we understand that you are familiar and agree with to Terms of conditions and that you will fully adhere to them.

1. Reserving accommodation

Request can be sent via e-mail, or phone. We answer your with e-mail for better representation of accommodation. For your query, you will get the answer in writing, together with an offer. Upon payment of the deposit specified in the offer this confirms reservation. Then, everything stated in the agreement becomes a legal obligation both for the guest and the owner of Villa Anita. The final balance is paid on the spot, on arrival of guests in the first 24 hours of stay. Upon arrival, all guests are required to present a valid document (identity card or passport) that the owner transcribes into the data that is forwarded to the police and the Tourist Board (e-visitor).

2. Description of the accommodation

We guarantee the authenticity of the photos, data and descriptions and equipment of apartments which are presented on this page. Every guest should arrive into a clean and tidy accommodation unit, and each guest will receive clean sheets. Guests who stay longer than a week new bed linen and towels will be provided once a week. In addition to the described equipment, the kitchen is fully equipped with utensils for preparing and serving meals. On the day of departure, the guest is obliged to allow the service provider overview of the accommodation, and it should be as it was on the day of arrival. For any damage to the devices or equipment through inappropriate use, the damaged devices or equipment, determined by owner and witnessed by guest. The customer is obligated to pay for any damage to the site.

3. Price of accommodation

Price includes the right to use the apartment and its equipment in the reserved period, normal use of water and electricity, as well as the tourist tax to the Croatian authorities.

4. Number of persons

Total number of persons in the apartment must not be higher than the confirmed number of people from the host.

5. The right of providers to change or cancellation

The landlord has the right to change or cancellation only in the event of sudden case which is beyond its control. In this case, the service provider will, if possible, try to find the apartment of a similar standard. In the event that the guest does not offer a single apartment, the guest will be refunded the entire amount paid.

6. The right customer to cancel a reservation

Guest can change or cancel a reservation up to 30 days before your arrival. In case of cancellation in the mentioned period, the advance will not be refunded. Changes in the 30 days prior to arrival are not possible. If there is a failure in this period has no right to a refund or advance or the rest of the amount paid. We advise clients to insure against the possibility of cancellation or illness. Reservations are private and cannot be transferred to another person without the consent of the host.

7. Travel Insurance

Reservation does not include travel insurance for the customer. Guest has a responsibility to purchase travel insurance in own country.

8. Pets

Villa Anita loves animals, but because of bad experiences with some pet owners, they are not allowed, except in exceptional circumstances agreed with the owner.When asked, it is necessary to specify the type, breed, and weight of the pet. The fee for a pet is EUR 10 per day. It is not allowed to leave a pet alone without custody, either in the apartment or garden. It is not permitted for pets to swim in the pool. In case you did not specify a pet host reserves the right to cancel the reservation on arrival!

9. Complaints

Complaints must be made during the occurrence of the problem, does not accept claims for departure in order to help reduce the expense. Please all the problems and complaints to report in time to try to resolve them to our mutual satisfaction. The guest has to: adhere to the house rules displayed in the accommodation unit, and cooperate with the owner in good faith.

10. Court Jurisdiction

If the customer is not satisfied with the resolution of the problem with the owner, has the right to court arbitration. In such cases the jurisdiction of the court in Korcula.

11. Accepting the general conditions

Paying for the reservation the guest entirely accepts the program and conditions of providing accommodation in private houses of Villa Anita.

House rules ~

We would like to introduce you to the house rules of Villa Anita and to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. To eliminate any misunderstandings, please familiarize yourself with it. When checking in, it is understood that you have read and agreed, and that you will fully adhere to.

  • Accommodation is available from 14:00 pm on the day of arrival until 10:00 am on departure day.
  • Guests are required to take care of the property and their valuables left in the apartments, the owner is not responsible for the subsequent loss thereof.
  • Guests are responsible for their behaviour in the house and the surrounding area, and in case of an accident the guests bears consequences.
  • When leaving the apartment sure to lock doors and windows, unplug the lights and all electrical appliances (TV, air-conditioning, stove ...) and water.
  • The owner has the right in the absence of the guests, in the particular circumstances to enter the apartment to prevent possible damage or danger. About the entry into the apartment, the owner is obliged to notify the guest at the first subsequent contact.
  • Destruction of equipment and furniture, disorder and disturbance of other guests, especial attention to avoid creating noise between times of 14:00-16:00h and 23:00-07:00h.
  • The content of the apartments may only be used by persons who are reported to as guests; hosts can request the guest to permit possible visits at certain times.
  • It is not allowed to bring weapons, explosive and flammable materials.
  • Using equipment and facilities which do not belong to the apartment is allowed only with the consent of the host.
  • Pets are permitted only with the consent of the host.
  • In case of disappearance or destruction of installations, furniture, appliances, equipment of the apartments, customers are required to notify the host. In so far as the disappearance or damage occurred due to the fault of the guest, the guest is obliged to compensate equivalent.
  • The removal of appliances and equipment from apartment is not allowed.
  • In case of violating house rules, the host has the right to refuse providing further services.
  • Your identity card or passport is required by host immediately upon arrival for registration at the Tourist office, and the same host returns it within the next few minutes.
  • Comments, compliments and wishes for your host who is at your disposal 0-24, and all emergency phone numbers and cell phones can be found in the apartment.

How to get here ~

BY CAR

  • from the direction of Rijeka use A6 and connect to the A1, from Zagreb A1 to Split (exit Split) for the Split ferry port, or to Dubrovniku (exit Ploce) to the port of Ploce (ferry Ploče-Trpanj), or to Klek via Pelješki most (bridge to avoid Neum, BiH): to Orebić (ferry)!
  • from the direction of Dubrovnik to the ferry port Orebic on the Peljesac peninsula.

For travelling by car, please check road conditions before traveling www.hak.hr and check the interactive www.map.hak.hr Alternative roads are the Adriatic Highway (DC8), which leads along the coast, or road E71 which passes through Karlovac in the Croatian inland.

BY FERRY

  • from Split there are two ferry lines a day to Vela Luka www.jadrolinija.hr

It is possible to book your car ticket in advance. When you buy a ticket it guaranties your place on the ferry. It is good to do it on time.

  • From Orebic to Korcula town (port Dominče) www.jadrolinija.hr Ferry Orebić - Korčula (port Dominče) runs almost every hour.

CATAMARAN

  • Split to Vela Luka runs one catamaran line daily www.jadrolinija.hr
  • Split for Blato (port Prigradica) runs one catamaran line daily in season (2:06 to 1:10) www.jadrolinija.hr
  • Split to Korcula runs one catamaran line daily www.jadrolinija.hr, and during the season two catamaran lines daily www.krilo.hr
  • Dubrovnik to Korcula town runs one catamaran line during the season www.krilo.hr

Catamaran loads solely passengers. Due to the limited number of tickets, and a large number of destinations to where the catamaran stops, it is always a good to buy a ticket a couple of days in advance.
